We are Krishna and Jithin, a Malayali couple. We have lived in Madrid, Spain since 2021.

When we moved, we did our own visas and paperwork. We did not use an agent. YathraJalakam is where we write down what we learned, so you can do it yourself too.

How we write

  • When we share our own experience, we say the year it happened. Rules in Spain change, so what happened to us may not be the process today.
  • For fees, rules and document lists, we link to the official Spanish government page and write the date we checked it.

We are not an agency

We do not find jobs, housing, university admissions or visas for anyone. We do not take clients and we do not charge for help. If someone says they work with YathraJalakam to get you a visa or a job, it is not us.
